Friends of Ninelands (FON)

The 'Friends of Ninelands' is our PTFA (Parent, Teachers & Friends) group, and all of our parents & carers of registered pupils are automatically full members of this association. 

The 'FON' is an independent registered charity and therefore must adhere to the UK Charity Commission's regulations, with support from our recognised 'Parentkind' constitution. Essentially, we organise a range of fundraising and social events throughout the year with our core aims of: 

• Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school
• Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils. 

The events are co-ordinated and publicised by a small steering group that is elected at our September AGM, and updates of any fundraising goals, events, and general news can be found in our monthly FON Newsletter which is emailed to all parents/carers and can be found on the school website below. 

For the FON to continue to be successful, more volunteers are always needed. Parents, carers, friends, grandparents, aunties and uncles are all welcome! You do not need to attend any of the meetings to help, if you can spare any time tho assist with any of our events or simply have any ideas that you would like us to discuss then please feel free to send us an email.
