Governors
Governors come from local communities and from all walks of life. You do not have to be a parent to be a school governor.
Governors are responsible for ensuring standards are raised and for the school's overall performance. The Governing Body was reconstituted in October 2014 and we now have twelve Governing Body posts. The full Governing Body meets termly to monitor and challenge the school's performance. In addition to this, we have three sub-committees which also meet termly to work in more detail on school policy and vision. The sub-committees are: Resources, Pupil Support and Teaching & Learning.
If you would like to contact a governor you can leave a message or letter at the school office for your named governor and school will forward this. Alternatively email governors@ninelands-school.co.uk.
