Ninelands is a foundation school catering for pupils between the ages of three and eleven. Although we are our own admisions authority, the school operates the Leeds City Council Admission Policy.

Admission Arrangements for Pupils Year 1 to Year 6
If your child is already of school age, please contact the school to arrange an appointment with the headteacher at a mutually convenient time. You will also need to obtain a copy of the In Year Common Preference Form which you can download from the links below.  If you would like a place, return the form to school, ensuring you ask for a receipt. We will inform you within a few days if there is a place available.

Applications for April 2021 funded Nursery places open on the 1st January 2021. You will need to apply no later than the 31st January 2021. To start Nursery in April 2021, your child must be 3 years old between 1st January 2021 and 31st March 2021 for government funded hours.

We have a number of fee paying nursery places for children who are 3 years old. These places are available to parents who wish to pay for nursery provision before the 3 year old government funded hours for nursery care apply (the term after a child is 3 years old) If you are interested in a fee based Nursery place for your child as soon as they are 3 years old, please contact our School Business Manager, Mrs Helen Manners-Vaughan, School Business Manager at office@ninelands-primary school.cco.uk.

Before the application deadline, you can register your interest by contacting our school office email office@ninelands-school.co.uk or phone 0113 287 8370. Alternatively email our School Business Manager, Mrs Helen Manners-Vaughan at office@ninelands-school.co.uk. This is not an application, only an expression of interest. You must submit a formal application between the dates when applications can be received. Applications forms will be available on our school website or from our school office.

We follow the Leeds City Council Early Years Admission Guidance. If you are allocated a place, we will then contact you in the term prior to your child’s admission date to arrange a visit to our nursery. Nursery staff will make a home visit by appointment to all new starters. Parents of children attending nursery are required to follow the Leeds procedures for applying for a Reception class place. Please note a place in our Nursery does not guarantee a place in our school.
